Tegan has been with you since she was 9 months old, it is so hard to put into words what it has meant for us to know how well looked after and cared for she has been. Gerome says a big thank you for the love and care you have given him all these years. Gerome came in the nursery as a baby and today he is leaving to big school, he can read and write his name. He can express himself very well and say thank you. Gerome will always miss you all. As parents we also thank you that we leave our son in your care about 10 hours and we always come to collect him safely. Thank you so so much. We will forever remember Barney Bears and all the fun outings we had.

I wanted to thank you for the past 3 years for all your support. The transition to moving Maryam from staying at home to coming to nursery fulltime was daunting first however, the reassurance and the care from Barney bears staff has eased my mind. Maryam loves nursery and there has been a huge confidence change in her over the years. We have had the pleasure of meeting some fantastic staff and parents over the years. It is so sad to see this all coming to an end. End of an era however, a new beginning for Maryam.

Since my little boy joined, I’ve seen such a significant improvement in his communication skills, which has been so encouraging as he works through his speech delay. He also suffered from separation anxiety and is now the most sociable little bubs!

The nursery’s focus on the EYFS has been incredibly effective in creating a nurturing environment where my child learns through play. It’s amazing to see how he is encouraged to develop his independence and establish good habits in such a positive, engaging way.

The staff are always friendly, approachable, and genuinely dedicated to the children’s development. I’m so grateful for the role they’ve played in my child’s growth, and I feel so confident knowing his in such good hands. Thank you, Barney Bears Nursery, for making such a difference in our lives!

This is my second child attending Barney Bears Nursery. My first child is 14 years old, who started the nursery at 3 months old. I thought my second child would definitely be attending here as well. The standards have not dropped and it remained consistent from all those years with their standards.

This review is for my second child. I am incredibly grateful for the wonderful experience my daughter has had at the nursery. From the moment she started at just 9 months old, the friendly and dedicated staff have provided outstanding support to help her settle in. Their warmth and care have made a huge difference and I’ve seen her grow and thrive in this nurturing environment. The diverse and inclusive environment has been a wonderful aspect of her experience. The variety of activities and experiences provided have significantly contributed to her development in a loving and nurturing way. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent seeking a supportive and enriching place for their child.

Our little girl started here in January 2024 and from our very first visit to the nursery, we knew it was the one! The staff are very welcoming, warm and worked hard to make sure we felt reassured in her early days. The settling-in process is great here, they build it up hour by hour each day and do not rush you or make you feel a burden if you want to call or check-in. Communication with parents is good and they always have a good handover every day. We love the opening times, (really works for working parents) and feeling rest assured that our daughter is having three good meals a day with snacks.

Go and visit the nursery, as soon as they open the door there is an instant feeling of a happy place!

Our eldest child has been at Barney Bears West Ham for three years and has always been very happy there. The most important thing for me is how kind and lovely the staff are and the strength of bond they have built with my daughter, she feels very loved and loves them too! She’s had the opportunity to go on lots of fun trips and have interesting learning experiences alongside day to day activities that have developed her knowledge and skills ahead of school. Our younger child will follow suit and start at Barney Bears soon!

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with this nursery! It’s a warm, caring, and creative environment that really supports children’s development through engaging sensory and learning activities. The facilities are excellent – there are two separate gardens for babies and toddlers, spacious rooms with views of the park, and everything is kept very clean. They follow a no-shoes policy inside the rooms, which we really appreciate. The baby room also has its own changing area with access to running water. The staff are absolutely lovely – kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. My little boy started here at 8 months old and he settled in so well. He’s now 18 months and already talking! We’re so happy we chose this nursery – it’s made such a positive impact on our son’s early development.

We are so glad we chose Barney Bears for our son! All the staff are incredible – they clearly all really care about the children and are passionate about what they do and it shows as the children all respond really well to the staff. They have lots of activities planned, always have extra events on special occasions and really go the extra mile. They have home cooked food and really look after the children’s welfare. My little boy absolutely loves going to nursery, and we have had nothing but good experiences.

I have had two of my children attend this nursery and I could not be more happier with how they have helped with them. My older son who attended a few years back was helped with potty training his, speech development was brilliant, his tantrums was kept under control and I was given some handy tips for those at home too. My daughter now attends there and there has been some new staff members started and have got along really well with my daughter. She sometimes has down days and does not want to go in but that changes with the bond she has made with the staff! She eats really well there and her sleeping pattern, thanks to the nursery, has improved at home as she used to stay up most nights now she has a strict routine and that’s thanks to Barney’s! Would highly recommend Barney Bears Nursery as they have undoubtedly worked really well with my children.
