My name is Demi, I am a mum of 2 and I have worked for Barney Bears for 12 years. I started my journey as a student in 2012 at Barking. I have progressed through completing my level 3 childcare qualification. I am now based at the West Ham nursery and as the Supporting Manager overseeing the baby room. I am also the Safeguarding Officer for the company. I have level 2 Mental Health qualifications, level 3 designated safeguarding lead qualification amongst many other trainings through the years. My passion is safeguarding.

Hi, I’m Charlotte Asher, the Company Administrator. I joined the Head Office Team as the Administrator back in May 2019, however, have been with Barney Bears since 2012!

I now oversee and manage the expenses within the company, as well as supporting in all other aspects, including; HR, Recruitment, Social Media and the overall company development and growth.

My name is Lucy Rawlinson, I have worked at Barney Bears Nursery for 6 years. Starting within Pre-school as an apprentice. After attaining a level 3 in childcare I have been able to progress up to the roles of Room Leader, Deputy and now Manager. My passion lies in nurturing and seeing the growth of the children. I am committed to providing them with the best possible start in life. My role is not only with the child and staff, I am also grateful to be able to build strong partnerships with our amazing parents. I have a lot of experience and have numerous training certificates, including SEN, Paediatric first aid, and Safeguarding.

My name is Jade, and I am currently the Nursery Manager here at West Ham. I have a level 3 qualification in Childcare & Education. I have been working for Barney Bears for around 9 years. I am very passionate when working with children, supporting their development while they learn and grow and supporting their families too. I came across well organised and I am always up for a challenge. Supporting our staff team’s development is one of my strengths, helping them to grow in their knowledge, and confidence and achieve their best.

My name is Daniella Crooks and I have worked for Barney Bears since 2016. My journey began as a student at our West Ham branch working within the Baby room. I hold a CACHE Level 3 in Children & Education & a Level 4 in Early Years and have attended lots of training during my time at Barney Bears including; Behaviour Management, Developing Outstanding Practice, First Aid, Safeguarding and Child Protection. My passion comes from seeing the children develop each day and taking them on outings so that they can explore the world around them. I am also passionate about SEND.

My name is Billie-Jo, I have worked for Barney Bears Nursery since 2016. I am trained as a level 3 Nursery Officer and Level 5, in leadership and management. Through my years with the nursery, I have been on lots of training such as SENCO level 3, Fire Safety, First Aid, Safeguarding Level 3, and so much more. My passion is training for both myself and my staff team. I currently work 2 days per week while I am studying at University.  I am enjoying my role and look forward to continuing to support the growth and development of the nursery.

My name is Jade, I have worked for Barney Bears since 2008. I started as a student, working in the room, as a room leader, Deputy, and Manager and now joining the Head Office team as the company’s as Senior Support Officer. My passion is to plan and provide an engaging, enabling environment, giving children the opportunity to learn through play and ensuring all areas of their development can be met through the areas within the nursery settings. I also enjoy working alongside the staff and children within the rooms.
